Description
The biggest and most powerful revolver in the Dan Wesson family is the monstrous 8” version. The 90’s SNAP megahit “I’ve got the power” adds added whole new meaning when sporting this huge 8” revolver. With impressive weight, more than 1 kilo, and a power output of more than 150 m/s (500 fps), this revolver really is a force to be reckoned with. Included: Speed loader, changeable tactical rail, and 6 shells.

Real Steel History

When you consider the name, it won’t come as a surprise that Dan Wesson has a family link with the famous Smith & Wesson name. Indeed, Daniel B. Wesson II – founder of Dan Wesson – is in fact the great-grandson of the original Daniel B. Wesson – Smith & Wesson’s co-founder.

Launched during the 1980s, the real steal Model 44 revolver predominately came with a 6-inch barrel, but this could be swapped out with several barrel-length part options.

The Model 44 was known for its commanding appearance and was originally designed for hunters and those into target shooting.

These days, Dan Wesson has branched out into producing its take on the 1911-type of pistol, with several models, not to mention rifles too. Despite this, the brand will always be associated by many with the Model 44 revolver and its ilk.
